As the Holiday season approached, I felt exhaustion sweeping over me. Maybe the past 10 years working on custom Holiday dresses finally caught up to me, but I knew I was in need of a weekend out of town to relax and recharge. I decided on a trip to Los Angeles, which is familiar stomping grounds for me. It’s crazy to think a year ago I almost moved to Beverly Hills to design dresses full time for a major brand – the decision to stay in San Francisco turned out to be one of the best I ever made, but I can’t help but think how things may have been different had I moved to LA.
We stayed at SLS hotel, which was gorgeous and I was totally stunned by the beauty at this hotel. Everything from the furnishings to the flawless Waterworks fixtures had me totally in awe. We dined at the Bazaar and had brunch at Urth Caffe on Melrose. I recharged with a relaxing spa day, a perfect way to enter the stressful Holiday season. Stay tuned for more updates in my Designer Diary soon! xo, Alyssa Nicole
