Summer has swept over the city like a tidal wave and I’ve spent the past 2 weeks desperately hoping for a surge of inspiration for my FW17 collection. Last weekend a day trip to Inverness, California for a dinner party and meadow jig was enchanting. Listening to an Irish folk band play underneath the moonlight was enchanting. I am wanting to spend more time at the beach so I can sketch designs, but I’ve been spending a lot of time in the Marina and Pac Heights admiring the beautiful Victorian homes for inspiration for my home furnishings line, Home by Alyssa Nicole. Living in Soma, I spend most of my time downtown and my only ethereal escape is my patio, which is beautifully landscaped and now the perfect getaway with my new patio furniture.
