If April showers bring May flowers, then I’ll gladly await the next few weeks when California warms up and blossoms into a perfect summer. Last week I enjoyed a lovely Spring picnic at Alamo Square with my SS17 stylist Peter. We enjoyed a decadent cheese plate, dark chocolate, and a bottle of wine as the sunset on the Painted Ladies. I was envious of Peter’s new Pottery Barn picnic basket, as he always curates the perfect picnic sets for our gatherings. As we sipped wine daydreaming of the interiors on these beautiful victorian homes, I felt optimistic and inspired for my new home furnishings line.
I’ve been working away on orders from the HOME shop and I’m so thrilled that HOME by Alyssa Nicole has been so well received by my lovely clients! The earthy and neutral toned fringe pillow collection seems to be a bigger hit than I initially expected! 13 years ago, when I first taught myself to use a sewing machine I began to craft decorative pillows – so it’s funny that these items seem to be the most popular items of the pieces I designed myself. Still, the Claranlily Macrame Wall Hangings have stolen my heart and I’ve recently decorated my own Soma Apartment with a few of the designs. See the collection in my shop here, xo Alyssa Nicole
