Introducing Home by Alyssa Nicole. Inspired by my ethereal design aesthetic, HOME by Alyssa Nicole is a light and airy collection of home furnishings and decor carefully crafted by talented female artisans.
It wasn’t until a few weeks ago our SS17 makeup artist/hair stylist Teresa complimented my apartment in soma saying the interior really embodied my design aesthetic which sparked an idea to carry home furnishings & decor in my shop! As a designer I am really inspired by environments when designing my collection, and interior design is very similar. I’d find myself gravitating towards home textiles when sourcing materials for my line. The past year I spent countless hours shopping for home furnishings and browsing catalogs for inspiration, so this new line developed naturally during my design process. I’ve always had dreams of establishing Alyssa Nicole as a lifestyle brand so I’m thrilled to share the collection in my Designer Diary!
In this collection, I’ve partnered with local female artisan Claranlily to carry her lovely macrame designs. I totally fell in love with her macrame wall art and air plant holders when we met at Femme Fair. Her designs are handcrafted in the SF/Bay Area. I designed a few pieces for HOME myself, starting with Fringe Pillow collection. Hoping to add lots of new artisans and pieces in the Alyssa Nicole shop soon!
