A New Year is upon us and it’s time to start thinking about new years resolutions. To be honest, I can’t quite remember what my resolutions were last year (most likely something to do with blogging or creative direction on collection). This year I moved into a new soma design studio which was definitely at the top of my list for 2016. Making a major life changing decision between staying in the bay area or moving the line to Los Angeles was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made. I decided to stay in the city I love most, San Francisco, & I’m really excited to finally be settled into the design space to start working on collection.
While I’ve been thinking about my resolutions for a few months now, my top priority is to get my infamous arm tattoo removed. Yes, I am worried it will be painful but that is the risk I am willing to take to never have to explain why I have an arm tattoo ever again. That, and I hope to spend more time developing more innovative ways to grow the collection to become a sustainable brand. Fashion should be smart, and I’ve been thinking about innovative design for the upcoming year. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! xo, Alyssa Nicole
