A few weeks ago I was able to visit Oscar de la Renta “The Retrospective” at the de Young museum in Golden Gate Park. Oscar de la Renta is one of my all time favorite designers so I had been really looking forward to visiting the exhibit. Everything about the exhibit absolutely magical – my favorite piece being the Marie Antionette inspired gown that Kirsten Dunst wore for the September 2006 issue of Vogue. I was so inspired by the beautifully feminine dresses and craftsmanship in Oscar de la Renta’s designs. I really admired that Oscar was influenced by the beauty found in his garden – my designs are also influenced by nature and soft feminine flowers.
The lightweight and feminine Jane Dress is one of my soft floral inspired pieces carefully crafted from my SS16 Collection. Luxurious silk layers captivate in a sun shower shade of yellow. Designed with a low cut V Neck bodice and bow-tie tassels, this dress exudes elements of bohemian ease. Shop the look here, xo Alyssa Nicole
