Between designing my new collection and photoshoots for my Designer Diary, I had really been looking forward to exploring the best that Los Angeles has to offer. We opted for sushi dinner at Izakaya Gazen in little Tokyo instead of our usual ramen spot (Daikokuya – highly recommend if you like ramen!). I love any excuse to enjoy petit fours for breakfast, so we brunched at Valerie Confections in Grand Central Market in Downtown Los Angeles. It’s hard to believe this was my first time at Grand Central Market for as much time that I spend downtown! We dined at Redbird, where I was in total heaven between their modern decor, craft cocktails, and American cuisine.
As much as I love exploring Los Angeles, I will always have a special place in my heart for San Francisco and I’ve been spending lots of afternoons in Golden Gate Park. Afternoon strolls around Stow Lake are a nice getaway from working on orders in the shop. Exuding luxury and true elegance is this romantic silk gown paired with a Carolina Herrera clutch at Stow Lake in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.
