EASY RIDER

When I first moved to San Francisco, I had my heart set riding my bicycle everywhere. I wanted to be fit and eco-friendly, and what better way to explore a new city then on a bike! When I got my bike, I spent lots of time riding around with friends in college and on trips to the fabric store where I would start designing my first collections. After a while, I had so many orders in the shop that I could no longer fit all the fabric I needed in my backpack! Upon moving to the Nob Hill neighborhood, I stopped riding as much as I’m not adventurous enough to ride my bike around the hills of San Francisco (high heels are one thing, bike is another!). By far the best biking in SF is on Sundays when Golden Gate Park is closed to cars. With the three day weekend for Memorial Day coming up, this could be the perfect time to ride & enjoy the beautiful gardens at Golden Gate Park!
