The question on everyone’s mind in October: How to Wear a Dress for Fall? The answer is simple: Layer with a denim jacket! This is actually my year round ‘uniform’ as San Francisco is chilly in the spring/summer months (and also to cover my regrettable arm tattoo). Last week a woman stopped me in the Bart station to tell me how much she loved my embroidered wrap dress – it literally made my whole week! When a stranger stops you in the street to tell you they like your design, that’s when you know you’ve done your job right.

I’ve recently become a fan of the bracelet stacking trend – and while normally I avoid wearing lots of jewelry – because it drives me crazy to wear bracelets when sketching and draping designs – I’ve become completely in love with the look.
