Seconds before my collection preview begins – you’d find me scrambling backstage – last minute styling all of my models – making sure every bow is perfected – each dress is fitted and polished to perfection. My hair stylists and make up artists are adding last minute touch ups to hair styles and powdering faces as our guests begin to arrive at our event. My assistant stylists lint rolling and snipping threads before the models make their entrance onto the runway.
The moment the show starts – everything is a total blur for me. I don’t know if it’s just nerves or the rush of reality setting in the moment I see my collection come to life – but as I see the full collection finished and styled on my models – I feel a wave of exhaustion. Carefully choosing a standing presentation for my collection launch, I’m able to chat and catch up with some of my best friends, favorite local bloggers, and clients that attended my collection preview. I’m so grateful Jennymay was able to capture some of these candid moments for me to share with you guys.
